His journey began in education, working with children and families in China, Japan, and Western Canada, and later expanded into child and youth counselling. Fox integrates CBT, DBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and experiential learning, with specialised training in Autism Clinical Support and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. He works closely with neurodivergent children and teens, including those with ADHD and autism, supporting emotional regulation, school stress, confidence, anxiety, and stronger family communication. Fox collaborates with caregivers to understand behaviour through a developmental lens and to build practical routines that reduce stress and strengthen family connection. Rene is a Speech-Language Pathologist with a BA in Psychology from Mount Royal University and an MSc in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Alberta. She has experience supporting children and adults with a range of communication and feeding/swallowing needs. Rene is especially passionate about childhood language development and bilingual language learning. She has completed two research projects in this area, with work presented at national and international conferences and published in the International Journal of Bilingualism.
